John and team managed the complete renovation of our HOA clubhouse which was all but destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding and their design services provided us with much improved space utilization. They were more than helpful in working with us on some timing constraints and did a good job of managing the permitting and inspection process. It's been five months since the project was completed and their follow up on the  few, very minor fixes has been very responsive. As the Property Manager, I had the opportunity to work with Huffmans Construction Group on a clubhouse renovation project for our community. Their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process.
They collaborated well with the Board, adapted to changes along the way, and helped keep the project on track and within budget. The project manager was organized, communicative, and proactive in addressing any issues.

I was the HOA Board President when we began the remodeling of our community clubhouse which had not been updated since it was built around 2004, and it showed its age. The layout no longer met residents’ needs, with long hallways, a small fitness center, and several large rooms that were rarely used. The main gathering space was undersized, and the kitchen was limited to a small galley-style room.
After a multi-round RFQ process, the BOD chose Huffmans Construction Group as the remodeler. Their team partnered with our volunteer board to present a community plan outlining the proposed updates and a revised floor plan that stayed within budget.
When the community added scope—remodeling the poolside bathrooms and creating a dedicated restroom for visiting contractors—Huffmans adjusted seamlessly. Even with these upgrades, we finished within 1.5% of the original budget, thanks to their smart material selections and consistently high-end finishes.
Our project manager was exceptional. He came to every meeting prepared with targeted questions and practical recommendations that kept the project moving without compromising quality. He shared clear progress updates, flagged issues early, and helped resolve them quickly to keep us on schedule. Where to begin? We first met John Huffman when we were beginning a significant renovation project.  We met with several contractors and John stood out in a big way.  We were impressed by his commitment to integrity and workmanship. That said, anyone can say the right things but it became clear that John put his money where his mouth was. His bidding process was clear and detailed. As our project progressed he kept his word, worked with us on changes and made suggestions for the longevity of our home.  No pushing, just options that would update our older home to help us forego future issues. Our project manager, Mitchell, was a god send.  He never accepted "it's ok", he always worked on details until things were perfect. He noticed things we didn't and made sure they were up to his high standards.  There were many weekends and late nights to make things happen. To this day, I know I can call them and they will show up to help me.  We are people that highly value integrity and that is what we got with Huffman Construction.  Construction projects rarely go perfect, but for us Huffman was the perfect partner!!! We hired John and his company to modernize our condo. We had him and his team get rid of heavy  stucco texture and repaint, as well square off some arches. We had the best experience with John and his whole team. Our place looks beautiful and modern and we felt that everything was taken care of so well. Everyone was responsive and so friendly and professional. He will doing all of our future work as well. Where do I start? I met John Huffman from a Google review just like this one. Knew nothing about his company or his team other than he was highly rated.  When we met, I just had a feeling that he was sincere, conscientious,  and cared about his customers.  That feeling could not have been more accurate.  He did a major gut/rehab for us and his team was PHENOMENAL.   Answered every phone call, every text, and showed up for every scheduled day they were expected here at our home. His team was equally as dedicated to providing quality customer service and workmanship.   Despite numerous, and I mean "numerous" change orders, they completed the job on time as promised.   And although the job was done, there were several punch out items that needed to be addressed.  Once again, they showed up to take care of each and every concern we have.  It probably would have been easy to put us on the back burner and focus on new work, however, they responded the same way that they did throughout the active construction phase.  I would recommend Huffman Construction to anyone who is interested in a firm that clearly dedicates themselves to providing a first class quality product, demonstrates a culture of honesty and integrity,  and delivers a customer service that exceeds expectations.
